Seerat

In Seerat e Nabi SAW, we shall cover the life of Prophet Muhammad SAW starting from the period of Hazrat Ibrahim AS choosing Arabia for settling his family. The course further explores the political and economic structures in addition to the social values and morals of the various empires in the era preceding the birth of the Prophet of Islam SAW.

The course covers major historic events before and after the blessed birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and then explores the society at Makkah and the tribe of Quraysh.

The narrative will then move to the early life of Prophet Muhammad SAW, his morals and role in society, his trading endeavours, marriage with Hazrat Khadija RA, his children and notable pre-prophethood events which lead to the first revelation. As the Meccan era closes to an end the course recaps various events and their significance in establishing Islam, including refutations made by modernists who distort historical facts or offer new interpretations of the events that occured during his life. The final part of the course focuses on the Medinan period where the first community was developed. We shall discuss how Islam creates value to the society by exploring how Prophet Muhammad SAW established a system which would lay foundations of the best of times this world has ever seen.

We shall end by revisiting the last years of the blessed life of Allah’s Final Messanger. We shall learn to be thankful him who became the greatest instrument of Allah’s mercy and left for us sources of eternal guidance. Those interested in pursuing further can continue this course for up to three(3) semesters of five months each which are held in succession.
