Shaykh Mufti Kamaluddin Ahmed db

Shaykh Mufti Kamaluddin Ahmed is a qualified Islamic scholar and university academic in the field of Islamic studies, specializing in Qur’an, Hadith, Law, History, Spirituality, and Ethics. He is currently a Doctoral Fellow in Islamic Intellectual History at the Berlin Graduate School.
Born and raised in Manhattan, he has a Bachelors from the University of Chicago and a Masters from the University of Oxford. He also traveled and spent many years pursuing an intensive full-time study of the classical disciplines of Islamic learning and was awarded formal certifications as an ‘Alim and Mufti.
For the past 20 years, he has formally guided seekers on the spiritual path of becoming closer to Allah (Swt) and regularly delivers talks and offers courses at universities, masjids, and institutions of learning in countries across the UK, Europe, and South Africa.
The Shaykh has also established academies offering free education in classical Islamic learning and spirituality through both live and online courses for men and women around the world. In 2009, the Shaykh with his respected wife Alimah S. Ahmed, founded Zaynab Academy Online – the first all-women’s online Islamic educational institute. Ustad Dr. Abdul Wassey

Dr. Abdul Wasey Durrani completed his MBBS from Jinnah Medical College in 2013. Having worked at the Dr Ziauddin Hospital and JPMC in disciplines of medicine, surgery and psychiatry; he is currently pursuing a career in Pathology.
Abdul Wasey has been fortunate in gaining the close company and guidance of the venerable Shaykh Kamaluddin Ahmed for the last few years to develop himself in self-purification (tazkiyah) and spirituality (tasawwuf). Abdul Wasey has also pursued classical Islamic learning for the past four years covering several areas including Quranic explanations (tafseer), Prophetic traditions (hadith), Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), basis of developing Islamic jurisprudential rulings (usool-e-fiqh) and Arabic.
He regularly organizes and conducts sessions for young professionals to guide them on the path of strengthening their connections with Allah through learnings from esteemed spiritual guides and scholars.

Ustad Saif Hassan Siddiqui

Ustad Saif holds a Bachelors degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and MBA from Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL). He started pursuing the study of Islamic sciences alongside his professional career and is in his fourth year nearing the completion of the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum, concluding in the Alimiyyah degree. He has studied Quran, Hadith, Arabic Grammar and Language, and Islamic Law from qualified ‘ulama in Karachi and Lahore.
Saif currently lives in Karachi and works for Meezan Bank for the promotion of Islamic banking in Pakistan. Over the years, he has remained in the close company of the venerable Shaykh Kamaluddin Ahmad.

MAULANA DR. SAEED ISMAIL

Dr. Saeed Ismail did his MBBS from Dow Medical College Karachi in 1983 and received his MCPS in paediatrics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan in 1986. Did his MBA from IBA and Pakistan Insitute of Management in 2007 with specialisation in Human Resource Management and Marketing. Fellow of SEDC LUMS with training as Master Trainer in People and Organization Management. Fellow of LEAD with training in Leadership and Environment issues from LEAD International.
He has conducted numerous workshops on primary health care and community mobilization and is the Founder and Executive Director of Society for Children with Autism and Learning Disorders(SCALeD) & He is the Co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS). Pakistan Centre for Autism. Member Kiran Foundation. Member Cleft and Contracture Foundation. Member Mashal Home for Orphans. Member Noor e Ali Trust running JS Academy for Deaf. Joined the Respectable Shaikh Kamaluddin as a student of Tasawwuf in 2008. Since then under his guidance pursued the Dars e Nizami course.Initial years from Ihsaan Institute and the final Daura e Hadees year from Jamia Darul Uloom Korangi in 2018. Special interests are Hadees & Arabic Grammar for Quran Fehmi.

Ustad Syed Irfan Ahmed

Syed Irfan Ahmed is a fifth year student of Darse Nizami having spent the first three years at Ihsan Institute, Karachi, for exams conducted by Wifaq ul Madarisul Arabia studying Qur’an, Hadith, Arabic grammar (Nahw) and morphology (Sarf), Arabic literature, logic (Mantiq), Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Principles of Jurisprudence (Usool e Fiqh), amongst other traditional scholarly texts in Islam.
Irfan has been fortunate in gaining the close company and guidance of the venerable Shaykh Kamaluddin Ahmed for the last few years to develop himself in self-purification (tazkiyah) and spirituality (tasawwuf). He is a double masters having graduated with an MBA from IBA and Ms Economics. He is also CFA charter holder and certified FRM. He holds a bachelors from IBA and is pursuing a PhD in Islamic Finance. He has been teaching university students at IBA, Bay View, TMUC as a visiting faculty and has taught at many other universities in Karachi for over a decade.
He is also entrepreneur with business interests office services, transport, education and IT. Irfan has spent over five years in the corporate sector and has consulted for companies in Pakistan, UAE and KSA .
