The 3-year Classical Islamic Learning (now, Quran o Hadith Diploma) provides an in-depth and focused study of Islam. It revolves
around the two fundamental sources of Islam: Quran and Hadith. The course is designed to inspire
the richness of these sources into the hearts of the students and to help them explore the
depths of this sacred knowledge. The course also aims to assist the students in developing their
connection with Allah SWT and His beloved Prophet SAWW so they can improve on their interaction
with society and experience the true feelings of being an ummati.
This course stems from our previous course: Classical Islamic Learning (CIL) with the same goal designed to introduce men to the classical methodology of Islamic knowledge and scholarship through a modern education approach. The philosophy of the CIL (now QHD) course is distinct in its embrace of the entire academic tradition of ahl-al-sunnah wal-jamaa with respect for all scholars of Tafsir, Habith, Fiqh, and Usul al-Fiqh. Moreover, this course highlights the importance of spiritual purification (tazkiyah) and inner reform (islah). It combines knowledge with wisdom and tradition, anchored on the primary texts of Quran & Sunnah.
